FIRST LOGO IDEAS - CBM

Here are my initial logo designs, I have decided to use the name CBM or Charlie Bailey Media. 

PRODUCTION COMPANIES

Working Title

Based in London, Working Title Films is the most successful British film production company. However despite its British origin, 50% of the company is owned by the US company Universal Studios. This is an example of the monopoly that American film corporates have on the global film industry.

If we analyse the company's logo, we see that it displays the 'Working Title' brand name in block capitals and a bold font. A circle separates the two words. This circle conveniently ends on the letter 'k' of 'Working', this draws our attention to the word 'king'. This could perhaps be a subliminal message, if you are a king, you rule over people and land. Working Title may be implying that they are the 'king' of the UK film production industry. 

Paramount Pictures

Paramount Pictures Corporation is an American film production and distribution company. Paramount is widely known as one of the 'big six' in the Hollywood film industry. Founded in 1912, Paramount is America's oldest film studio. Paramount Pictures is a subsidiary of the global mass media corporate Viacom.

The Paramount logo shows the brand name text Paramount at the top a mountain. Surrounding the mountain in a circular fashion are 22 stars. Originally there were 24 stars to represent the 24 contacted film stars.
